If you are at your son or daughter's sporting event remember this: it's their day not yours. Let them enjoy it. You are not there to shout at the ref or the opponents, your kids certainly don't want to hear or see you doing this, they just want to play the game. It's also not time to relive past glorys through your child so stop trying to live your dreams through them.
Try this.....complete silence until the end of the game, talk to the opposition parents, enjoy the day out and the fact your kids are having fun. Then along with all the other parents clap both teams off the field or court at the end of the game. Your kids will love you for it.
